Another bumper year for Menorcan airport 

2007 was another bumper year for the airport in Menorca, proving the island’s continued popularity as a top tourist destination. 2.7 million passengers passed through it last year. That’s 3.2 per cent more than in 2006.

Menorca invests to welcome you! 

Tourism is such an important part of the Menorcan economy that the island is investing £1.5 million into promoting it over the next year. The island council has recently taken over responsibility for promoting tourism. And it’s signed an agreement with the Baleric Institute of Tourism to invest two million Euros.
