Villa in Deia. Superb Newly furnished Villa with Private Pool. Close to Village and Sea.Outstanding Views. Sleeps 6/8 (4 Bedrooms).
An excellent renovation of the original farmhouse with outstanding views of the mountains and church. Two sets of French doors open out from the sitting room and dining room to the large terrace with built-in BBQ area. Another private terrace in the garden has an excellent view of the mountains and church (which is spectacularly lit at night). The house has been beautifully furnished and decorated with original art work. Downstairs there is a spacious open plan sitting room and dining room, a very large well equipped kitchen with French doors opening out onto the terrace. Upstairs are 3 large bedrooms and two bathrooms the fourth, smaller bedroom is downstairs with another bathroom. Bedrooms: All the bedrooms are air-conditioned.
Bedroom 1 with super king bed and en-suite bathroom.
Bedroom 2 with king sized bed, access to terrace and pool.
Bedroom 3 with twin beds.
Bedroom 4 with twin beds - please note this is small bedroom with no view.
Bathrooms: En-suite to bedroom 1 with bath, shower, wc and bidet.

Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: Towels and linen are provided. The rates include weekly cleaning with a change of bed linen and towels at the end of each week. Garden and pool maintenance. Swimming towels are NOT provided.

Notes on accommodation
The house has air-conditioning in the bedrooms and a log fire. Hairdryers provided. No smoking. No pets.
Unsuitable for small children as there is a terrace at the front of the house with a low wall and 5 metre drop on the other side.

Accessibility
Unfortunately the house is unsuitable for wheelchair access.

Outside
The house has a small private swimming pool in the garden which is surrounded by lawn and flower beds. Steps lead up from the garden to a terrace which is ideal for sunbathing. There is another large terrace and a covered area for outside dining with a table and 8 chairs. Built in BBQ and preparation area with sink. There are wooden sun beds. Private drive with plenty of parking space.

Owner Recommends
The nearest beach to the house is Cala Deia. This is a 5 min drive, or a 20 min walk down through the olive and citrus groves to the beach. It is the most amazing cove with an excellent fish restaurant perched on the rocks, and a beach bar. There is also a sandy beach at Soller is 20 mins by car or if you are feeling energetic follow the path along the coastline to Soller - the views are incredible.

Golf
There are 20 golf courses in Mallorca, the nearest, Son Termens, is approx 12 kilometers from Deia. This is a relatively new course with stunning hillside location.

Travel
Palma airport is approx 40 mins by car. Car hire is not essential though recommended. Taxis can be arranged. To drive to Deia, take the Via Centura around Palma and then the exit signed Valldemossa. Leaving Valldemossa take the first right signed Deia. There is a frequent bus service to both Palma and Soller.

Distances
The house is a 5 min walk from the centre of Deia which is one of the most beautiful villages in Mallorca. Visit the bustling town of Soller (10km) with its shops cafes and restaurants. Take the tram through the town down to Soller port, or the single gauge railway which cuts through the mountains to Palma and enjoy the dramatic views. Try some local wine tasting, and wander around the markets held weekly at some of the towns and villages. There is also a theatre in Valldemossa - approx 10km.

Further details
There are many restaurants, tapas bars and cafes to choose from ranging from El Olivo at the famous La Residencia Spa Hotel to the local cafes and bars. If you want to cook then the local food store sells just about everything you will need. There are 2 banks, a post office, pharmacy and several boutiques/craft and gift shops. There are tennis courts just beside the house (2 mins) and the area has dramatic scenery ideal for the many mountain and coastal walks.
